Job Description: The Business Analyst
is responsible for the trend reporting functions for the area and acts as the systems
super user.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing and managing Global Quality
Program
- Responsible for QA in the Area
- Responsible for check, train, fix
- Responsible for providing good analysis and offering
concrete solutions when presented with conflicts and issues
- Responsible for tracking trends and monitoring improvement
procedures
- Responsible for leading area projects as assigned by
Area VP
- Works with other Analysts to develop standard procedures
to continually improve and streamline processes
- Exercises discretion and independent judgment on a daily
basis defining, implementing and delivering system projects within deliverable timeframes
- Works on multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Responsible for effectively prioritizing issues to complete
a project in a timely manner
- Responsible for understand existing company business
model and continuing to stay updated with any changes in the future
- Performs other duties and assigned by management
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in project leadership for medium
and large sized projects required
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience required
- Background in freight forwarding or logistics preferred
- Experience with financial and business analysis required
- Experience analyzing business requirements highly preferred
