Job Description:
This role may involve close contact with business partners to define learning objectives
and direction for specific direct marketing campaigns, as well as the application
of data mining and statistical approaches to support the delivery of those campaigns.
Business analysis, design of experiments, project management and strategic support
will also be provided across all types of Deposits campaigns. Additionally, this
Individual will be responsible for tracking campaign results and running ad-hoc
reports for marketing performance.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with Enterprise Analytics and partnering business to understand the
business problem
- Creating key statistical/data strategies for a line of business and influencing
business decisions
- Developing project plans, setting/managing expectations and delivering results through
- Analyzing data, building models and assessing their quality
- Monitoring model performance and making recommendations, as needed
- Communicating results, recommendations to senior management
Qualifications:
- 1-3 yrs of experience in statistical modeling and analysis in financial services.

Ability to analyze and synthesize complex data into clear action oriented recommendations for the business.

Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time

Experience with logistic regression, decision trees, survival analysis, design of experiment, mathematical programming and other quantitative techniques

Efficient modeling skills with very large data sets

Ability to lead in a highly matrixed & team oriented organization

Communicating clearly and concisely to individuals from various backgrounds

Masters degree in Statistics, Management, Business Administration or similar field of study

Strong knowledge of SAS or similar statistical programming package

Proficient in working with key statistical principles
